March 26th, 2025 - In its continuing effort to stop the distribution of illegal drugs in the Third Judicial District, the office of the Third Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Task Force (DTF) has made the following arrest. The 3rd DTF with the assistance of the Greene Co. Sheriff’s Department and the Greeneville Police Department severed several capias presentments from the Greene County Grand Jury arresting the following subjects.
Christine Mathes – Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Fentanyl. (2 counts)
Ashley Kinley – Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Fentanyl. (2 counts)
Cassondra Southerland – Facilitation of the Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Methamphetamine, and Maintaining a Dwelling where Illegal drugs are used/kept/stored/sold.
Teresa Johnson - Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Methamphetamine (8 Counts), and Maintaining a Dwelling where Illegal drugs are used/kept/stored/sold. (2 counts)
Already in custody on unrelated charges, and served with their Indictments:
Vincent Apel – Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Fentanyl (2 counts), Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Methamphetamine (2 counts), Possess Firearm Intent To Go Armed - Dangerous Felony, Possession Weapon
Sheldon Johnson- Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Methamphetamine
Jerry “Scott” Malone- Sale and/or Delivery of SCH II Methamphetamine
There is Grand Jury returned indictments on three other individuals who remain at large at this time.
